About us
Mediobanca International's principal activity consists of raising funds on international markets, by issues of notes chiefly under a short and medium term programmes guaranteed by the parent company, Mediobanca – Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A. (Mediobanca Group website).
Mediobanca International is also engaged in corporate lending operations on international markets.
The company was originally incorporated in 1990 under the name of Mediobanca International Limited.
On 21 December 2005, the shareholders of the Bank decided to transfer the registered office and the principal establishment to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and declared that the Bank had accordingly adopted the Luxembourg nationality.
In addition, the shareholders decided to adopt the form of “Société Anonyme” and to change the name of the Bank into the current Mediobanca International (Luxembourg) S.A.
