“Mediobanca International primarily engages in lending activities, both on a bilateral and syndicated basis, in the international credit market.

Additionally, the Bank is involved in fund raising activities, through specific short and medium-term issuance programmes, guaranteed by its Parent Company, Mediobanca S.p.A.”

The company was originally incorporated in 1990 under the name of Mediobanca International Limited.

On 21 December 2005, the shareholders of the Bank decided to transfer the registered office and the principal establishment to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and declared that the Bank had accordingly adopted the Luxembourg nationality.

In addition, the shareholders decided to adopt the form of “Société Anonyme” and to change the name of the Bank into the current Mediobanca International (Luxembourg) S.A.
